The ‘Most Innovative Use of AI/ML’ award demonstrates our industry-leading approach, that has brought about transformation through innovation. Our winning use case, ‘Planogram Compliance Enablement with Artificial Eyes and AI’, focussed on one of the biggest snack companies in the world. We identified pressing pain points, opportunities, and value propositions, including inadequate retail transactions, smooth customer engagement, solutions to deal with out-of-stock situations, inventory management and inappropriate implementation of Planogram enforcement. The use case also highlights the game-changing approaches taken by Absolutdata to tackle the aforementioned issues and avail of the opportunities in this fast-emerging space. Leveraging AI, Absolutdata focused on Planogram compliance, missing product replacements, rack position and out-of-stock fronts. In addition, it also created an internal framework for the governance process. After implementing technologically advanced solutions recommended, the client witnessed significant growth in marginal revenue and sales with a 1.5X increase in product orders for specific SKUs.

The ’Best Use of Personalized MarTech’ award recognizes our innovation towards enhancing the true value of customer experiences by finding new ways, approaches, technology to level up the personalization efforts. Our winning use case, ‘Next Best Experience Recommendation’ focussed on one of the biggest telecom players in South Africa. We created a holistic recommendation model, NBx that encapsulates and correlates domain knowledge, technology, machine learning & heuristics-based algorithms to decipher the best course of action across various customer life-stages & associated revenue streams (Get, Grow, Keep) of the customers – Providing the ideal intervention in terms of both Next Best Activity (NBA) & Next Best Offer (NBO) customized by segment, regional, and company objectives. The client was looking to accelerate the realization of commercial value of their data and to automate a few parts of their CVM function. With our solution, the client realized an incremental revenue of about $26 million with about 67% process efficiency through campaign automation.

Top companies countrywide had participated and submitted their application to add this remarkable award to their portfolio. Out of the 100+ applicants competing for the award, we emerged as the winner in both these categories after a rigorous selection round and jury evaluation. Our agile, futuristic, and scalable solution impressed the judges and we qualified amongst the top 20 contenders for the winning spot.
